CHANGE is working with Skills For Care

CHANGE is working with Skills for Care to help them to make their information more accessible.
Shaun, Frances, Paul & Austin trained staff in Leeds, Birmingham and London in March to show them how they can best use the images we are creating especially for them.

A Skills for Care worker said, “a very useful and thought-provoking session. It was good to hear first hand what is best practice, the trainers were very good and guidelines were clear and easy to follow”. (London 19th March)

 

training parents from Voice4Kent

Shaun & Austin trained 6 parents with learning disabilities from Voice4Kent on the 21st & 22nd April, in Ramsgate, Kent.
The training was “Parents training for change” to show the parents how to become trainers themselves.

 

We learned from CHANGE how to plan good training sessions

One of the parents said “It has been good working as a group so we can take supporting & training to other people”.
